Qualification policies
Since the 3rd Division series level was new for the season, the teams could not be directly divided into series levels based on last season's success. According to the Jury's discretion, a few teams were already placed in the 3rd Division, and by the way, last season's 2nd Division was divided into 2nd Division and Challengers qualifiers.
Differing from last season, the qualifiers are played in ascending series order, so that a possibly significantly superior team in the qualifying series can, if necessary, be moved to play in the next week's qualifiers for the higher division. Thus, it is even possible for the team originally placed in the 2nd Division qualification to secure a place in the Masters series.
Team lineups are locked from today until the end of the tournament. All lineup change requests must be submitted to the Jury via the #open_servicerequest channel on the Kanaliiga PUBG Discord server. The jury reviews the change requests on a case-by-case basis and decides on the right to play for additional players.
Five (5) teams advance to the series from the
2nd Division qualification, nine teams advance to the series from the Challengers qualification ( 9) teams and nine (9) teams emerge from Masters qualification.
