Big news and PUBG's fall season schedule

Picture coming

Some keen-eyed people may have already noticed from social media accounts that Kanaliiga has reached a PUBG partnership. With the cooperation, we will be able to offer even more interesting Mayhems and possibly also some PUBG-themed prizes for tournaments. Thanks for achieving this definitely goes to every player who played in the Kanaliiga tournaments and to the viewers who watched the Twitch broadcasts, without forgetting our organizers, Jury and casters. Without our great PUBG community, this wouldn't be possible and we will continue to provide the best PUBG tournaments for corporate teams!

Squad Season 7

As usual, the main event of the coming fall is Squad Season 7! Based on the feedback, the season will again be held for eight game days and the season will start with the 2nd Division game on September 6. and ends at the end of November with the climax of the Masters season. Based on feedback from the past season, the team limit per match for each series is 16 teams for the upcoming season. In practice, this means that there are 16 teams in the Masters and Challengers series, and the 2nd Division series can, if necessary, be played as a block of three eight teams, which face each other every other week. Each team has a total of eight game days during the season and the teams are placed in one league table. However, the requirement for this to be implemented is at least 21 teams registering for the 2nd Division level.

New for the seventh season will be short BO6 qualifying series for the Masters and Challengers levels. Teams signing up for the season undertake to play the qualifying series and the season as a whole* under the threat of a ban. The qualifying series for the Masters series will be held on August 16 and 23. and to the Challengers series on August 19 and 26. The Miramar maps are played on the first game day and the Erangel maps on the second.

The last five (5) teams of the Masters series of the S6 season and the 11 best teams of the Challengers series of the S6 season are invited to the Masters series qualifiers. The last eight (8) teams of the Challengers series of the S6 season and the first eight teams of the 2nd Division series of the S6 season are invited to the Challengers series qualifiers. The new teams will be placed in the Masters and Challengers series qualifiers according to the Jury's assessment and alternately replace the best-placed Challengers team and the worst-placed 2nd Division team in the S6 season. Changes to the team selections for the qualifying tournament may be possible. The organizers will inform about the final team selections for the qualifying series after the registration period has ended.

* Occasional missed game days due to the personal busyness of the team players are allowed.

B group will play and the eight (8) best teams from each group will play on 5.8. in the final. Registration for the tournament is open at Kanastats service.

After the Squad season is over, the traditional Duo tournament will be played in the Christmas spirit in December. The tournament format is still under discussion and possible formats are a Double Elimination tournament similar to the previous Duo tournament or a four-group Round Robin tournament, where the teams are divided into four groups and the groups play against each other. The best 50% of each group advance to the finals of the tournament. The tournament format will be announced closer to the tournament and your feedback will be taken into account in the selection! If you have an opinion, in which format you would like to play the Duo tournament, please contact the organizers in Kanaliiga's Discord!
