KANALIIGA IN ENGLISH
Business series and company leagues in various sports have been held for a long time, but PC or console gaming has not been among these sports. Kanaliiga (translates into "Chicken League") was launched in the fall of 2018 to allow adult players to play competitively with co-workers and against other companies. The first tournament was held in PlayerUnknown’s BATTLEGROUNDS and today we have tournaments in several games, including, inter alia, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Dota 2 and NHL.
Games are held every week and Kanaliiga already has hundreds of teams and thousands of players regularly playing in our tournaments. Kanaliiga operates on a voluntary basis and the steadily expanded activities are developed according to the feedback from the community and partners.
Gaming acts as a unifying factor within companies, helping to create team spirit and create new networks within large companies. All business teams can participate in the channel league and there have been companies from many different industries from large IT companies to commercial aviation and authorities. The players who took part in the tournaments have been experienced players as well as fresh talents - so you don't have to be a professional player to participate. There are different types of shorter tournaments between longer season-shaped games.
How do you get involved? If you are working in Finland, get a team together and join the fun! If you are from somewhere else and would be interested in joining the world's largest company league, get in touch with us to see if you can join our league as well.
